At Zenith Sanctuaries, we prioritize your comfort and well-being. During the trek, you’ll stay in comfortable lodges nestled in the mountains, providing a cozy and rejuvenating atmosphere after a day of exploration. In Gahchok, our eco studio awaits, a hand-built space exclusively designed for meditation, accommodating up to 10 people. Here, you’ll find a serene sanctuary to deepen your practice and connect with a like-minded community. Our knowledgeable guide, Rami, and his warm-hearted family will ensure that your experience is not only transformative but also filled with authentic Nepalese hospitality.
The meditation techniques we use have played a larger part in Xavier’s personal healing journey with many methods studied and integrated from different backgrounds and teachers including Deepak Chopra, Joe Dispenza, and various authors on the effects of the mind on the body and mind recalibration principles, a touch of buddhist philosophy and yogic principles infuse meditation with information to integrate the practice in mind, body and spirit.
During the course we explore how the body works, how to ground the mind and body through self awareness meditation techniques, we explore ways to regulate the nervous system and detach from subconscious traits and emotional imprints of the past that create realities no longer reflecting the truth of who we are today, and we implant new neural connections that shift our belief systems to more expansive and creative propensities.
Katharina’s breath work practices take you on a journey of gentle rhythms between the subtle and yet powerful flow of the breath intertwined with body movement which will ensure that our physical, emotional and mental capacities are given the best chance to absorb what the moment holds and for the programs to be integrated a little more effortlessly. Coming from a medical background, she fuses age-old healing arts and modern science to an easy to apply approach, meant for you to take home exactly the tools you need.
Once reached our destination on the peaks we settle into the deep introspection part of our programs for two entire days at 4000m altitude, providing an environment completely unfamiliar with the routines and programs that our subconscious programs unconsciously live out everyday and therefore an opportunity to rewrite new chosen realities to become imprinted in our brain and nervous system subroutines; new habits replacing old.
Ending our trekking experience sees us resting, integrating and consolidating these programs in a traditional Nepali farming village at 1600m altitude where we get a chance to enter the final phase of our programs: the letting go of the past and embracing new chapters through heart coherence practices.
Gentle yoga flows will begin each day, except in the days spent in high altitudes, where we will be more focussed on the meditation programs and the oxygen is a little scarce to ask the body to sustain rigorous movement.
