Each day unfolding a new chapter into  4 part workshop themes.: Breath Introduction, Breath & Movement, Breath & Meditation and Advanced Breath practices.

* Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included with every retreat pass

Please note this festival is a non alcoholic event during retreat hours so alcohol is not provided with any of the included meals.

Gorgeous single or twin share rooms with sea views and private balconies are perfect for sharing with a partner or a friend, or simply enjoy as your own space

This resort will be our retreat headquarters so plenty of fun to be had there every evening!

    Schedule Zenith Kythira Spirit Festival

    Day One , “lets get to know each other”

    0645 – Meet on the terrace and begin with a gentle practice of Pranayama, followed by 60 minutes of Hatha yoga practice.

    0800 – Group meditation on blessing the space we will occupy for this chapter in our lives

    0900 – Breakfast is on the table…

    1100 – 1300 We gather here today to pay homage to each other and the land, we present ourselves to the group, followed by a meditation that will bind each of our personal intentions for the next 11 days. orientation, programs and Q&A time

    1330 – Lunch calls us to our favourite restaurant in Agia Pelagia and then we enjoy some free time to get our bearings

    1530 – Off to town we go for a little personal shopping and loads of exploration along the way.

    1900 – Back at base and dinner time! We gather for a family dinner and we share a little more of ourselves with each other, whilst pleasing the palate with local dishes

    2030 – Bonding and opening activities, make sure to bring your yoga mat!

    Day two , “The journey begins”

    Commitment to silence and the transformation of old habits into new is where it all begins here, the mind put aside and off into the body we go, TLC the theme of this new day.

    0645 – Meet on the terrace and begin with a gentle practice of Pranayama, followed by 60 minutes of Hatha yoga practice, gentle but active.

    0800 – First heart coherence meditation of many to come. (30 minutes)

    0900 – Break-fast time, infused with a conscious eating talk and the eventual breaking of the morning silence. 

    1100 – 1300 Gather for our first workshop “Breath recalibration, talk and practice level 1”, exploring diaphragmatic breath practices.

    1330 – We break for lunch here and we plant our souls in a lavish environment, tantalise all of our senses and for those wanting to take it a step further, Yoga Nidra.

    1530 – Either a nature walk to the Moudari lighthouse or free time to explore or self nurture??

    1900 – dinner time! We gather for a family dinner and we share a little of our day with each other, whilst pleasing the palate with local dishes

    2030 – Surprise activity, you’ll want to bring a pad and paper for this one!

    Day three, “All about the senses!”

    Commitment to silence and the transformation of old habits into new is where it continues here, the mind put aside yet again and off into the body we go, a little deeper again.

    0645 – Meet on the terrace and begin with a gentle practice of Pranayama, followed by 60 minutes of Hatha yoga practice, a little more active today.

    0800 – Heart coherence meditation, we consolidate our commitment to deeper heart connection with ourselves (30 minutes)

    0900 – Break-fast time again and the eventual breaking of the morning silence. 

    1100 – 1300 Gather for workshop no 2 “Breath recalibration, talk and practice level 2” where we explore the emotional connection between breath and nervous system.

    1330 – Lunch time!  We once again plant our souls in a lavish environment, tantalise all of our senses and then indulge ourselves in a rejuvenating practice of Yoga Nidra.

    1900 – We settle in for dinner 

    2030 – Beach sunset meditation, gentle breath work and sharing of the day.

    Day four, “Presence presence presence”

    Deeper commitment to silence today, an entire day of contemplation, introspection and transformation, the mind put aside yet again and off into the body we go, a little deeper again. can you switch your phone off for an entire day?

    0645 – Meet on the terrace and begin with a gentle practice of Pranayama, followed by 60 minutes of Hatha yoga practice, with a deep focus on breath and mind today.

    0800 – Heart coherence meditation, we consolidate our commitment to deeper heart connection with ourselves (30 minutes)

    0900 – Break-fast time again and focus on conscious eating

    1100 – 1300 Gather for workshop no 3 “Breath recalibration, discourse and practice level 3” where we explore the breath and movement into conscious daily life.

    1330 – Lunch time!  Today we share a meal in complete silence and nature, followed by a practice of Yoga Nidra.

    1530 – A little homework never hurt anyone so we give you some mind mapping exercises to do either on your own or as a group.

    1900 – We settle in for dinner, silence still prevails here.

    2030 – Beach sunset meditation, gentle breath work.

    Day five, “What just happened?”

    0645 – Today we observe ourselves after a full day of silence.

    We ask you to go on a silent walk for an hour before turning up for the morning meditation (instructions given)

    0800 – Heart coherence meditation, today we extend our heart connection to all those we hold dear in our hearts (30 minutes)

    0900 – Break-fast time again and focus on conscious eating, break of silence.

    1100 – 1300 Gather for workshop no 4 “Mind recalibration open discourse and meditation part 1” where we explore the breath and movement into conscious daily life.

    1330 – Lunch time!  Today we put on our frocks for a surprise trip and nature meal

    1900 – Tonight we are shown how to cook greek style by a local chef

    Day six, “Whats on your mind?”

    Still focussed on a commitment to silence and the transformation of old habits into new we put the mind aside yet again and dive a little deeper into the body once again.

    0645 – Meet on the terrace and begin with a gentle practice of Pranayama, followed by 60 minutes of Hatha yoga practice.

    0800 – Heart coherence meditation.

    Today we use our practice to extend our new skill to humanity (30 minutes)

    0900 – Break-fast time again and the eventual breaking of the morning silence. 

    1100 – 1300 Gather for workshop no 5 “Mind recalibration open discourse and meditation part 2” where we explore the emotional connection between breath and nervous system.

    1330 – Lunch time!  We once again plant our souls in a lavish environment, tantalise all of our senses and then indulge ourselves in a rejuvenating practice of Yoga Nidra.

    1900 – We settle in for dinner 

    2030 – Beach sunset meditation, gentle breath work and sharing of the day around the fire

    Day 7 “Off to the Peloponnese we go”

    Still focussed on a commitment to silence and the transformation of old habits into new we put the mind aside yet again and dive a little deeper into the body once again.

    0645 – Meet on the terrace and begin with a gentle practice of Pranayama, followed by 60 minutes of Hatha yoga practice.

    0800 – Heart coherence meditation.

    Today we use our practice to extend our heart coherence to the world (30 minutes)

    0900 – Break-fast time again and the eventual breaking of the morning silence. 

    1000 Gather your towel and swimming costumes, we’re off to the high seas (well, across the bay to the Peloponnese anyway), exploring the bays of the surrounding islands as we sail our way to Simos beach and a little sea port for lunch

    1330 – Lunch, and nap (Greek style under an olive tree perhaps) or more land exploration for the adventurers

    1530 – Back on the boat, we head back towards Agia Pelagia but not without a meditation practice on the senses

    1900 – Dinner time for the hungry sailors

    2030 – Beach sunset meditation, gentle breath work and sharing of the day around the fire

    Day 8 “Yoga adventure day” 

    0645 – Meet on the terrace and begin with a gentle practice of Pranayama, followed by 60 minutes of Hatha yoga practice.

    0800 – Heart coherence meditation.

    Today we use our practice to heal ourselves (30 minutes)

    0900 – Break-fast time again and the eventual breaking of the morning silence. 

    1100 – 1300 Gather for workshop no 6 “Mind recalibration open discourse and meditation part 3” where we further explore the emotional connection between breath and nervous system.

    1330 – Lunch time!  We once again plant our souls in a lavish environment, tantalise all of our senses and then indulge ourselves in a rejuvenating practice of Yoga Nidra.

    1530 – Surprise outing, make sure to bring a pad and pencil today

    1900 – We settle in for dinner 

    2030 – Beach sunset meditation, gentle breath work and sharing of the day around the fire

    Day nine, “letting go with Love”

    0645 – Meet on the terrace and begin with a gentle practice of Pranayama, followed by 60 minutes of Hatha yoga practice.

    0800 – Gratitude meditation.

    Today we use our practice to magnetise and manifest (30 minutes)

    0900 – Break-fast time again and the eventual breaking of the morning silence. 

    1100 – 1300 Gather for workshop no 7 “Mind recalibration open discourse and meditation part 3”.

    Here we explore the vibrational value in gratitude on the mental emotional aspect of daily life.

    1330 – Lunch time!  We once again plant our souls in a lavish environment, tantalise all of our senses and then indulge ourselves in a rejuvenating practice of Yoga Nidra.

    1530 – Yoga workshop in a very special location, bring your swim suit today.

    1900 – We settle in for dinner 

    2030 – Beach sunset meditation, gentle breath work and story telling.

    Day 10, “The chapter ends as the new journey begins”

    0645 – Meet on the beach and begin with a gentle practice of Pranayama, followed by 60 minutes of partner yoga practice.

    0800 – Gratitude meditation.

    Today we use our practice to magnetise clear intentions (30 minutes)

    0900 – Break-fast time again and the eventual breaking of the morning silence. 

    1100 – 1300 Gather for an open group discussion excursion 

    1330 – Lunch time in the olive groves today.

    1900 – The last super. 

    2030 – Beach sunset meditation, gentle breath work and tonight we release the past with loving intention into the fire, we enter healing through forgiveness

    Day 11 – ”Never a goodbye but always a namaste

    0645 – Meet on the terrace and begin with a gentle practice of Pranayama, followed by 60 minutes of Hatha yoga practice.

    0900 –  Breakfast and closing ceremony

Both sea and air access is available to reach Kythira.

Sea Jet ferries run from Piraeus in Athens to Kythira on Tuesdays and Fridays at 10am, arriving around 16-30 on the island.

The cost of the ferry ticket is around EURO 22

Various domestic airlines fly to Kythira from Athens and the cost is around EURO 50 one way

Let us know if you need to be picked up or we can also arrange a rental car for you at the port or airport.

 

We ask no alcohol be consumed during festival hours but a little grape nectar never hurt anyone after hours!

A-hiking we plan to go so make sure to bring comfortable closed shoes as the shore line walks can present sharp rock edges at times
